2007-2013 Transportation Improvement Program

2007-2013 Transportation Improvement Program

MUMPO adopted its portion of the 2007-2013 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) on February 15, 2007.  The MPO approved the TIP as recommended by the Technical Coordinating Committee (TCC).  Click on the link below to view the February 15 presentation to the MPO listing all of the TCC’s recommendations.  The North Carolina Board of Transportation (BOT) adopted the statewide TIP on March 1, 2007.

Listed below is the portion of the TIP for Division 10, along with a list of changes from the 2006-2012 TIP.  NCDOT   will provide information on the MUMPO portion of the TIP which will be posted here as soon as it is received.

The approval of the TIP is subject to the successful completion of an air quality conformity determination. MUMPO is working with the NC Department of Transportation to complete this task by May 2007. Also required is an amendment to MUMPO’s 2030 Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). Additional public meetings will be held to hear the public’s opinion on these matters.
