Changes to the Metropolitan Planning regulations (23 CFR 450.300) resulting from the adoption of SAFETEA-LU mandate that MPOs consult with state and local agencies responsible for land use management, natural resources, environmental protection, conservation and historic preservation concerning the development of their LRTPs.  This part of MUMPO’s website is devoted to providing a comprehensive depository for information related to the Consultation process, and to facilitating a convenient process for agency review and participation in MUMPO’s update process.
