Mallard Creek Road (Graham St to Harris Blvd)

This project will be a four-lane, median-divided roadway that will realign Mallard Creek Road through the Derita neighborhood. When the project is complete, Mallard Creek Road will intersect with Sugar Creek Road at Graham Street. The result will be a multi-lane road linking I-85, W.T. Harris Boulevard and I-485 (upon its completion).
Project Status: This project is currently funded in the North Carolina Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) with Surface Transporation Program-Direct Attributable (STP-DA) funds. The proposed construction start date is fall of 2012.
